The twenty-third volume of this beloved Belgian series finds the blonde, wide-eyed Natasja crouching tensely in a lush jungle setting, flanked by two imposing tribal totem figures while a dark-haired companion and a small child huddle close behind her — François Walthéry's cover work captures both the sense of adventure and the warm character dynamics that have defined this series. Subtitled In het spoor van de blauwe sperwer ("On the Trail of the Blue Sparrowhawk"), the album promises an exotic, mystery-tinged escapade in the spirit of classic Franco-Belgian adventure comics. Published by Dupuis in 2019, this is a fine addition to Walthéry and Sirius's long-running collaboration.
