Nains #9

The ninth volume of Soleil's fantasy series Nains brings us "Dröh des Errants," with cover art by Jean-Paul Bordier placing a battle-worn dwarf warrior front and center — cloaked, blindfolded, and gripping a curved axe — against a sweeping landscape of misty crags and green hills. Behind him, a green-skinned female figure adorned with antlers leans against an ornate stone archway, her presence adding an air of mystery to the pairing. Nicolas Jarry and Bordier continue to craft a rich world of wanderers and warriors with this 2017 entry that looks every bit as atmospheric as the series' devoted fanbase has come to expect.
