Mystery Men Comics #14 is an anthology featuring multiple stories. "The Blue Beetle" involves the hero stopping a policeman from being run over by a truck. "Lt. Drake of the U.S. Naval Intelligence" follows Drake as he disguises himself as an unemployed sailor to infiltrate a suspicious ship and uncover foreign spies attempting to steal stolen airplane plans. The story also includes Wing, Drake's associate, who boards the aircraft while Drake goes undercover, with the men engaging in combat against the espionage threat. Additional features include "Green Mask" and "D-13 Secret Agent," all presented in this 64-page, 12-comic anthology issue.

When a mysterious murderer known as the Cobra claims a victim at the Drew residence, the vigilante Zanzibar arrives to investigate a body marked only by a tiny, telltale sign behind the ear. Before he can piece together the mystery, the corpse of James E. Drew vanishes from its casket the night before the funeral, launching Zanzibar into a pursuit across rooftops and through the shadows to confront the killer responsible for years of unsolved murders.
