My Secret Marriage #7
In "Without Romance," war hero Tom returns home after discharge, marrying Wendy in a quiet moment of peace. But with a mayoral run on the horizon, he’s forced into a fragile charade—pretending to court Annie to win her mother’s financial backing—while keeping his real marriage hidden. The tension builds as secrets threaten to unravel, testing loyalty, honesty, and the cost of ambition. A 1954 gem from the Iger Shop, with art and inks by the same team, this issue captures the quiet drama of postwar life with emotional precision.
