My Romance #2
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFrom the laughter and tears of everyday life, My Romance #2 (November 1948) captures heartbreak in vivid, saturated color. Lin Streeter's cover pencils stage a quietly devastating scene: a tearful young woman in red clutches a handkerchief while her mother warns her off the man she loves — and just outside the window, the oblivious cad himself laughs from his car, already planning to stand her up. At a dime a copy, this Marvel romance anthology promised "true life" stories that might have happened to you, and this cover makes that promise feel bracingly real.
