Karen goes to work for her father’s corporation and meets Eric, the owner of a cannery. They fall in love but Karen doesn’t want to live in fear of her husband being lost at sea. She urges Eric to take a safe office job and breaks their engagement when he refuses. However, when Eric risks his life to save the victims of a shipwreck, Karen realises she loves him and they reconcile.
