Helen dates Ted but breaks their engagement because he insists on living within a budget. A short time later he marries Jinny. Ted tells Helen that he and Jinny have been arguing about money. While on a date with Ralph, Helen spots Jinny with another man. They leave when they see her, and are killed in an auto accident. Two months later, Ted proposes marriage to Helen and she accepts.
