In "Proof That Crime Never Pays," gangster Frank Nash attempts to engineer a jail break but is caught by the FBI in a shootout at a railroad depot, meeting his end in a hail of gunfire. "Murder, Incorporated" follows a criminal scheme involving a curve on a mountain road where two fugitives plan to eliminate a witness by causing a fatal car crash, but their plot backfires when they are themselves killed in a collision. A second storyline depicts Pete Rock, an industrialist, being kidnapped by syndicate members who demand ransom, only to have the criminal scheme unravel when the villains are caught attempting to collect the money.
