Baby Kermit takes center stage on Marie Severin's charming cover, decked out in a safari hat and striking an adventurous pose with a walking stick against a desert backdrop complete with pyramids and camels — while Baby Piggy, Baby Gonzo, Baby Rowlf, Baby Scooter, Baby Animal, and Baby Fozzie look on with wide-eyed anticipation. A speech bubble cheekily dubs him "the frog-faced stranger who will lead us to the Magic Kingdom," setting a playfully tongue-in-cheek tone for the "Idol of Doom" Muppet Madventure promised inside. Star Comics' January 1986 entry in this Marvel series looks like a thoroughly good time for fans of the gang's baby-sized antics.
