Muppet Babies #15

Marvel's Star Comics imprint brought the beloved toddler Muppets to the page in 1987, and issue #15 leans right into that self-aware charm. Marie Severin's cover shows Baby Piggy excitedly announcing "Look, everybody! We're going to be in a comic book!" while Baby Fozzie, Baby Animal, and Baby Kermit tumble around her — Kermit cheekily protesting that he'd rather just sit. The story inside is titled "The Magic Book," and with the whole creative team — writing, art, inks, colors, and letters — handled by Laura Hitchcock, Marie Severin, and Grace Kremer, this one has a wonderfully crafted, cohesive feel that fans of the animated series will want on their shelf.
