Ms. Marvel #8
Tied into the sweeping Civil War event, this 2006 installment of Ms. Marvel features a haunting cover by David Mack — Ms. Marvel plummeting through a lightning-charged sky, her golden hair and red-and-blue costume trailing upward as she falls weightless against a wash of pale violet light. Brian Reed and Roberto de la Torre bring their talents to "For the Best," a title that hints at difficult choices during Marvel's hero-versus-hero conflict.
