Ms. Marvel #7
In "Nightmare!", Ms. Marvel is captured and imprisoned in an underground AIM facility, where her suit is stolen and given to an enemy agent—only for the power transfer to fail. With her mind targeted by MODOK’s psychic control, she fights to break free, uncovering a shocking truth: her abilities were always part of her, not just the suit’s gift. Written by Chris Claremont and illustrated by Jim Mooney with inks by Joe Sinnott, this gripping tale features a bold cover by John Buscema and Rich Buckler, inks by Joe Sinnott.

Ms. Marvel finds herself trapped in an underground AIM complex and her suit has been taken to give one of the enemy agents her power. When this doesn't work, MODOK tries to control Ms. Marvel's mind but she breaks his conditioning and escapes. She later realizes all powers provided to her by her suit were earlier transferred to her body, eliminating her reliance on her suit for her abilities. MODOK now runs his own splinter AIM group secretly operating beneath the regular AIM New York branch.
