Sean Madigan steals the DNA bomb from AIM which was secreted in an alternate dimension. Maria Hill tasks Ms. Marvel with finding AIM and recovering the bomb. With warring factions trying to take control of the AIM organization from an ailing Modok, Ms. Marvel and Wonder Man find themselves in the thick of the conspiracy. Things get worse when Modok controls Wonder Man's mind and commands him to kill Ms. Marvel.
