Schwantz's Mr. Mack hits the road with this first volume, "Doortrucken," published by Strip2000 in 2015. The cover sets the tone perfectly: a barrel-chested, mustachioed trucker in a star-spangled cap leans out of his red cab door with a raised fist, a heart tattoo on his arm, while a big rig rolls along the open highway behind him under a blazing yellow sky — police car in the dust for good measure.
