"Walk East on Beacon" is a Cold War espionage thriller in which FBI agents work to identify and stop a Soviet spy ring operating in the United States. When a student who disappeared in Europe in 1940 is discovered alive at a Soviet institute in Moscow, the FBI uses microfilm evidence and airport surveillance to track the spy courier network. The agents must locate the courier's contacts and retrieve crucial intelligence before the enemy can escape with the stolen scientific information.
