“Vigilante Hideout”

"Rocky" Lane must stop a dangerous criminal named Muley from stealing a shipment of gold while also protecting a woman named Marigae, whose heart would break if Rocky were taken away. Rocky pursues Muley's wagon train and hides in one of the wagons to prevent Muley from seeing him, while his stallion Black Jack follows behind. The story culminates with Rocky confronting Muley and the conspirators in Cottonwood Spring, where it is revealed that Jim Benson, not Rocky, was responsible for the killings Muley had blamed on Rocky, and that the entire scheme was designed to capture Rocky.
