Mother Panic #2

Part of Gerard Way's DC Young Animal imprint, Mother Panic #2 brings Jody Houser's sharp voice to Gotham's rougher edges in this February 2017 installment. Tommy Lee Edwards' cover draws the eye to a punk-styled young woman crouched intently over what appears to be a bloodstained document or map, her studded jacket and orange headphones giving her an unmistakably street-level attitude. Behind her, a sleek aircraft looms against a green-tinged cityscape, hinting at a world where grit and high-tech collide in equal measure.
