Moon Knight appears dwarfed and vulnerable at the bottom of this striking Gabriele Dell'Otto cover, his white-cloaked figure gazing upward as two massive, ornately armored hands close in around him — the scale alone conveying a sense of overwhelming threat. The intricate engravings on that towering armor and the crimson streaks trailing above give the image a genuinely unsettling, almost mythic weight. Mike Benson, Jefte Palo, and Lee Loughridge's "Down South: Chapter Three" promises the kind of high-stakes tension that this 2009 series delivered at its most intense.
