Moon Knight #16

Moon Knight's white-cloaked figure plunges headlong through a blood-red sky, his cape shredding apart as massive, glowing orange tendrils coil around him — Declan Shalvey's cover is striking in its stark simplicity and dread. The "Angels" storyline, written by Cullen Bunn with art by Germán Peralta and colors by Dan Brown, clearly has Marc Spector contending with something far larger and stranger than street-level crime. It's a visually arresting chapter in this 2015 series that makes a strong case for Moon Knight as one of Marvel's most atmospheric books.
