Arthur Suydam's cover for this 2008 installment of "God and Country" is a quietly striking piece of meta-art: a painter seen from behind works at an easel, rendering a hooded, shrouded figure in an ornate gold frame, while reference photos — including one of Captain America — are pinned nearby and a suited bust looks on from above. It's a moody, painterly image that hints at identity, duality, and the many faces Moon Knight wears. Mike Benson and the art team of Mark Texeira and Dan Brown carry the story inside, making this a compelling chapter in one of Marvel's more psychologically complex series.
