This volume collects the 2014 story 'Moomin and the Sea,' originally serialized in the Moomin comic strip series. Written and illustrated by Lars Jansson, it follows the Moomins as they relocate to a remote lighthouse island, where Moominpapa attempts to write his memoirs while the family adjusts to the challenges of seaside life. The book is part of Drawn & Quarterly's series reprinting the classic Moomin newspaper strips from the 1950s and 1960s.
