The seventh volume of Delaf and Dubuc's Mooie Navels series arrives with a wonderfully festive cover — the wide-eyed heroine drapes herself across a gleaming white convertible wrapped in an enormous pink bow, surrounded by a cheering crowd and a shower of confetti and gift boxes. "Haast volmaakt geluk" ("Almost Perfect Happiness") sets an irresistibly celebratory tone for this 2015 Dupuis release. Delaf's bright, expressive artwork makes the whole scene feel like a party you'd genuinely want to crash.
