Monty Hall and his Marines are zeroed in by enemy forces during a landing operation, but manage to regroup at the barracks. There, Monty accepts a wager from Chuck Clark to stage a boxing match between Pete and Chuck's platoon champion, with the winner's platoon earning bragging rights. "Canarsie and the Minnie Marines" follows a Marine named Canarsie who volunteers for a Korean War assignment giving lectures to female Marine boots, only to discover he's not the only good bull-thrower in the group when the women turn the tables on him during a cross-country hike. "Pin-Up Pete" features a soldier distracted by thoughts of an attractive woman named Heliotrope before an approaching monsoon.
