# Monty Hall of the U.S. Marines Marines Monty Hall, Tex, and Canarsie respond to a distress call on a moving train, where they discover a man named Jeff Gery has been murdered. The killer, revealed to be a man named Shifty Eyes who was hiding in the train compartment, attempts to escape by jumping from the window, but Monty pursues him. After a violent confrontation, Monty discovers that Shifty Eyes was working to silence Gery before he could testify before a Senate Crime Investigating Committee. The issue also features "The Mystery of the Orient," a story about a woman named Hazel O'Toole from Brooklyn who poses as "Belle Casbah" and discovers she will make history with this deception.
