This issue contains two stories: "Gabby Hayes and the Bandits at the Bridge," in which Gabby Hayes, a foreman at the Bar-Nothing Ranch, rides along on his horse and discovers a disaster lurking at the bridge ahead; he attempts to stop bandits using various rope tricks, including fashioning a loop and using a magnet, though the rope-slinging outlaw ultimately escapes into the distance. A secondary story titled "Old Slick: Conversation Piece" follows, depicting a comedic exchange where Old Slick claims he has a toothache, leading to a humorous argument about whether he has false teeth, punctuated by slapstick comedy involving the other characters.
