In the prehistoric past, a mutant caveman flees his tribe through dark tunnels, finding refuge behind a roaring waterfall—where he feeds on sound itself. Eons later, when the waterfall dries, he erupts into the modern world, a pulsating mass hiding in an abandoned house, starving for noise. When a hippie couple stumbles upon his lair, he begins to pursue them, desperate to survive. Just as he begins to wither, the girl opens her mouth—offering the one thing he needs.
