Two rival adventurers face off with revolvers drawn against a Victorian London skyline — Big Ben looming in the mist and a steam-powered flying machine soaring overhead — setting the stage for what promises to be a gloriously pulpy, globe-trotting competition. Below them, a rogues' gallery of supporting characters crowds the cover: skull-clutching figures, indigenous warriors, a sharp-dressed woman, and various roughnecks who hint at the eclectic, dangerous company both men keep. Masbou and Leprévost launch this Delcourt series in 2013 with a cover that wears its adventure-serial heart proudly on its sleeve.
