The issue features multiple monkey-themed stories. In one tale, a monkey character equipped with firearms and wearing a sheriff's hat attempts to rob a bank, but is thwarted by gunfire and explosive action before being apprehended. Another story involves a young monkey named Petey who disobeys warnings about dangerous items, getting attacked by hornets after being told matches are hazardous, and later facing stingers that drive him into the night. A final sequence shows two young monkeys on a hiking trip where one warns the other about the dangers of chewing matches and playing with fire, inadvertently causing a forest fire that attracts a bear.
