From Hélène Lasserre and Gilles Bonotaux comes this charming volume in the Mon chat est un hypocrite series, published by Larousse in 2012. The cover says it all: a large, grumpy-faced cat sits front and center with a speech bubble asking "Y'a pas de bouton «pause» ?" — while behind him, a framed vignette shows a kitten dangling precariously from a rope, tail flailing. It's a wonderfully deadpan image that captures exactly the exasperated, self-absorbed feline perspective on the chaos a new baby brings into the household.
