Volume 2 of MoMo -the blood taker- from Shueisha draws you in immediately with its striking cover: a sharp-featured young man with dark tousled hair and luminous magenta eyes stares out with an air of cool, unsettling intensity, one hand raised near his face in a guarded, almost concealing gesture. The muted teal palette and gold-bordered title lettering give the whole design an elegant, slightly eerie atmosphere that suits the series' blood-tinged premise perfectly.
