This Dutch-language integral edition of Mjollnir brings together the complete saga under the evocative subtitle "De hamer en het aambeeld" — The Hammer and the Anvil — with artwork by Pierre-Denis Goux whose painted, atmospheric style is on full display right from the cover. A broad-shouldered Norse warrior, clad in layered leather and fur armor and gripping a round shield, stares out with steely resolve as crackling bolts of lightning frame him in an eerie white glow. Daedalus's 2016 collection is a handsome showcase for Goux's richly detailed linework, colored with striking depth by Digikore Studios.
