Reclusive astro-scientist Guntag Barghelt has discovered the keyword to the universe - the dynamic word that will trigger his treated subject, endowing him with great power. Only one can be so treated, so he seeks out a young lad who is honest, studious, and of great integrity. He searches in vain for days, then encounters Micky Moran, who saves Guntag from a bunch of hooligans. He brings Micky to his laboratory and treats him in his atomic machinery. He then has Micky say the magic keyword, "Kimota", which transforms the boy into Marvelman.
