Allan steals money from his best friend to pay off gambling debts, but Kitty gets Dave to agree not to report it to the police. Kitty helps Dave struggle to save the business and eventually sells her ring from Allen to help the business survive. Allan returns after hitting the jackpot and wants to buy Dave out, but Kitty realizes now how selfish he is and decides to stay with Dave. Six months later, Dave gives her a ring that is for always.
