Mandy and Greg had met under a cherry tree years ago in the village where she grew up. But they only had one day together because Greg's father had a good job offer in London. Now he is taking everyone by storm as a folk singer and she has a fab job on a magazine with money to spend, admirers galore. When a reporter for "Pop World" sees Mandy slipping away from a party that includes Greg, he senses there is a story there.
