The 'body' Cherry had seen in a nearby stream was Clyde, who had been knocked in the head and fallen in the stream. After a photo shoot of the book jacket cover for "Countdown to Murder", everyone is invited to a press party to meet the author of the book. Cherry goes outside to be alone, but it grabbed from behind.
