Tricia Hood finds herself caught in a sudden shootout between rival crews on the water, narrowly escaping with a mysterious record meant for a morning broadcast. With help from her friend Dpn Loader, she hides the disc in a local shop—but not before taking a risky listen. What she hears at the end of the track is a chilling, desperate cry for help, leaving her wondering who’s behind the recording and why it was lost in the first place.

Pip takes her sister Karen’s advice to heart when her boyfriend Tony announces he’ll be away for six weeks, determined to embrace the "love 'em and leave 'em" approach—though her heart might have other plans.
