From comedian and pop-culture devotee Patton Oswalt and co-writer Jordan Blum comes this fresh Dark Horse series about the supervillains nobody fears. Scott Hepburn's cover says it all: a colossal dark fist looms from above, about to smash down on a ragtag crew of costumed misfits — a green monster-man, an older fellow in glasses, a woman in a purple jacket, a bearded figure in orange, a small gadget-toting character, and a caped woman in white — all scrambling beneath the threat with doves scattering around them. It's a wonderfully chaotic snapshot of an underdog ensemble, and "A Quick End to a Long Beginning" promises exactly the kind of irreverent superhero storytelling this cover teases.
