The swinging late-'60s energy practically jumps off this Stan Goldberg and Sol Brodsky cover, where Millie — in her bold red polka-dot dress and go-go boots — confronts a grinning young man at what looks like a groovy happening, complete with a sitar player, floating musical notes, and a candlelit atmosphere straight out of 1968. Someone is clearly not getting the message, as the speech bubble makes delightfully plain amid the crowded, lively scene. With Stan Lee writing and the title's playful "The Phantom Robber!" promising some fashionable mischief, this issue captures Millie's world at its most colorfully chaotic.
