Mijn hart in braille #[nn]
Anne-Lise Nalin's cover for this 2025 Daedalus release is quietly arresting — two young faces fill the composition, one rendered in cool blue-green tones with wild curly hair and glasses, the other warmer and wide-eyed below, their hands cradling a face in a gesture full of tenderness and curiosity. The Dutch title Mijn hart in braille ("My Heart in Braille") signals something emotionally intimate at the heart of this collaboration between writers Joris Chamblain and Pascal Ruter. Nalin's fluid, sketch-like linework and gentle palette give the whole thing a dreamy, heartfelt quality that makes it immediately inviting.
