Mindor retrieves a computer from a fallen satellite, but is puzzled as to why so many are coming down. Terra of Jerz is pulling them from orbit with a magnetic weapon, in order to scavenge their high technology. Mindor agrees to assist Terra until he discovers that she plans to use a weather-control satellite as a weapon.
