Studios and Saban Brands announced the English-language comic series in June 2015, assembling a creative team led by writer Kyle Higgins (known for his DC work on Nightwing and C.O.W.L.) with artist Hendry Prasetya on pencils and Matt Herms on colors, plus back-up stories co-written by Steve Orlando and Mairghread Scott with art by Corin Howell and Daniel Bayliss.
