Midnight Suns #1

This opening chapter of Midnight Suns brings together one of Marvel's most formidable gatherings of supernatural and street-level fighters, and David Nakayama's cover delivers the team in full force against a blood-red sky. Blade crouches up front with sword drawn and fangs bared, while Magik wields a glowing soul sword at center, Wolverine charges in with claws extended behind her, and Ghost Rider, Venom-like figure, and Elektra round out the ensemble in a composition that practically crackles with menace. Writer Ethan Sacks and artist Luigi Zagaria, with colors by Antonio Fabela, set the stage for "Part 1: Rise of the Suns" — and if this cover is any indication, the team is already charging headlong into something dangerous.
