Midnight Nation #7

J. Michael Straczynski's Midnight Nation reaches its seventh chapter with a cover by Gary Frank that stops you cold: two figures tumble helplessly through a night sky, surrounded by an explosion of shattered glass, a crescent moon looming large behind them above a darkened cityscape. The image perfectly captures the series' tone — something between a dream and a freefall, beautiful and unsettling in equal measure. With "Decisions, Decisions, Decisions" as the story title, this 2001 Image/Top Cow release promises that whatever choices brought these two to this moment, the consequences are anything but small.
