J. Michael Straczynski's supernatural series burns into its fourth issue with a cover by Gary Frank and Jason Gorder that puts two steely-eyed figures — a blond man and a dark-haired woman — front and center, ringed by rising flames that cast an unsettling glow across their tense expressions. The title "The Devil You Know" promises exactly the kind of morally charged, edge-of-the-world storytelling that made Midnight Nation one of the more compelling reads Image published in 2000. If you've been following this series, this issue's cover alone makes clear that the heat — literal and otherwise — isn't letting up anytime soon.
