From the sub-atomic realm of Innerspace, the Micronauts face chaos on this September 1982 cover — a massive blue beast leaps through shattering glass while a blond figure in blue and gold fires back, robots and mechanical allies tumble across a control console, and an armored figure looms at the left as an unseen giant's gloved hands hover over the controls below. Gil Kane's pencils and inks give the whole scene a kinetic, almost vertigo-inducing energy, with the tiny heroes looking gloriously outmatched against the scale of their surroundings. "Blinded by the Light!" promises exactly the kind of wild, imaginative adventure that made The Micronauts one of Marvel's most inventive titles of the era.
