With Scion in possession of the Zodiac Keys, the Micronauts travel to the planet Aegis, which has become a refuge planet for many alien species fleeing from the pain that has consumed the Microverse. Also Scion's mysterious motives continue to unfold when he causes Bug to mutate, prompting Marionette & Solitaire to aid their Insectivorid comrade.
