Based on Dmitry Glukhovsky's post-apocalyptic novel, this Dutch-language adaptation — Masker der Duisternis (Mask of Darkness) — continues the underground saga with a cover that says everything about the world below. A glowing-eyed creature crouches menacingly in the rubble of a dark, debris-strewn tunnel, its hunched silhouette framed by the arching darkness of the metro system stretching ominously into the distance. Peter Nuyten's collaboration with Glukhovsky on this 2022 Arboris release promises the same atmospheric dread that makes the tunnels of this shattered world feel genuinely terrifying.
