Metamorpho: Year One #5

Part five of six in DC's "Year One" retelling of Metamorpho's origins finds the Element Man in fierce combat on this Kevin Nowlan cover, where a multicolored, patchwork-skinned Metamorpho strides forward aggressively while a green, goblin-like creature writhes at his feet. A massive, spinning axe-like weapon cuts through the air between them, lending the scene a real sense of kinetic danger. With Dan Jurgens writing and Mike Norton on interior art, this penultimate chapter of "Treasure Quest" promises plenty of elemental action heading into the finale.
