Meet the Skrulls #5

The penultimate chapter of Robbie Thompson and Niko Henrichon's intimate Skrull thriller wraps up with a cover by Marcos Martín that is quietly unsettling — a dense city street packed with ordinary-looking people pressing toward the viewer, while hidden among the bold red-and-black title lettering are shadowy Skrull silhouettes watching from within the crowd. It's a beautifully paranoid image: anyone in that throng could be something other than human, and nobody seems to notice. A fitting send-off to a series that found real tension in the question of what it means to be a family — even an alien one living undercover on Earth.
