The issue contains three humorous stories: "All in Fun" by Mel Lazarus, which follows Merton through various comedic encounters including introductions to new acquaintances and a quiz program where he wins a carton of Sputter cigarettes; "The Animal Act," a visual gag strip depicting anthropomorphic animals performing increasingly absurd behaviors; and "Peggy Dean and Mature Ham," in which Peggy and a friend hope to appear in a movie, only to learn that the lead actor's main interest is kissing animals rather than the actresses themselves.
